Valley Gives is a 24-hour online giving event that allows individuals to support the good work throughout the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. Acting collectively on a single day, people like you can support nonprofit and charitable organizations in Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin counties that hold a broad range of missions - all focused on our community’s hopes and needs.
Valley Gives has a real impact - on the viability of organizations and the vibrancy of peoples' lives. In 2016, more than $1.6 million was raised for over 450 nonprofit organizations; since its inception in 2012, over $7.2 million has been donated by individuals. Nearly 20,000 donors spanning our region, the state, country, and globe have joined this shared effort.
The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts (CFWM) is the founder and host of Valley Gives. The mission of the Community Foundation is to improve the quality of life in the Pioneer Valley. Valley Gives is an important way to do this - connecting people who care with organizations doing important and powerful work.
This year, Valley Gives Day will take place on May 2, 2017. The 24 hours of giving begins at 12:01 am and ends at midnight.
